Booking Engine Settings
How your direct booking website is configured and published.
Booking Engine Settings is where one booking engine — one public booking website — is set up. Everything a guest sees on it is decided here: the name and contact details, the colours and pictures, the wording, the questions asked while booking, what the AI assistant knows, and how much money is taken up front.
Each booking engine has its own settings. If you run two — one in English and one in Swedish, or one for each property — they are configured separately and nothing carries from one to the other.
Opening the page
- Open Settings in the left sidebar.
- Underneath it, each enabled booking engine appears as its own row, with a globe icon and a label like Pingara Chiang Mai (EN) — the engine’s name and its language.
- Click the one you want.
An engine that is switched off does not appear in the sidebar at all. Creating engines, enabling them and putting them on your website are covered in Managing booking engines.
The six tabs

How saving works here
This is the one thing worth knowing before you start, because the screen does not say it.
The first five tabs share a single Save. They are five views of one record. Pressing Save on any of them sends everything — General, Theme, Text, Check-in questions and AI assistant — in one request. A half-finished change on another tab is saved along with the one you are looking at.
Moving between those tabs keeps your edits, but does not save them. Switch from General to Theme and back and your typing is still there. It is being held in the browser, not written to the server.
Leaving Booking Engine Settings altogether throws unsaved edits away. Go to the Calendar, or reload the page, and anything you had not saved is gone, with no warning.
Payment policy is the exception. It is a list with its own Add, Edit and Delete, and each of those saves on its own straight away. The Save button on the other tabs has nothing to do with it.
