Guest documents and registration
Attaching passports, registration cards and signed forms to a reservation.
Reservations carry a Documents area for everything that has to be kept on paper: a scan of a passport, a signed registration card, a company authorisation, a copy of an invoice.
Adding a document
Drag a file onto the documents area, or use the upload control. Before it is stored you are asked to choose its purpose — what kind of document this is. The purpose is what makes the list readable later, so pick it carefully rather than leaving everything the same.
The list
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | The file name. |
| Purpose | What the document is. |
| Generated by | Who uploaded it, or the part of the system that produced it. |
| Date | When it was added. |
| Voided | Whether it has been withdrawn, and the reason given. |
What you can do with one
- Open — view it in the browser.
- Download — save a copy.
- Print — for the guest or for your own file.
- Void — withdraw a document that is wrong, giving a reason. The document stays in the list, marked as voided, with the reason visible.
- Delete — remove it entirely.
Documents SupremeStay generates itself
Invoices and receipts created from a reservation’s charges are documents too, and appear in the same list. See Invoices and receipts.
